Sharon and David Carroll are Oakmont Residents and always thought of having a shop in the retail district of their city. While on a trip to Maryland, they became acquainted with Laconiko products and “The Greeks”, as they are lovingly called by all who know them. They fell in love with the quality of the products and wanted to share them with their friends and family at home. But how?…
And that’s how it all started…
The retail space on the boulevard in downtown Oakmont came available and Dave and Sharon snapped it up. They began formulating a plan to share these incredible products with their community! From store layout, to decor, and events …this business is more than a store for them. It is a testament to their desire to create memorable experiences (culinary and otherwise).
They are particularly appreciative of those who work in their store and those who’ve made it beautiful. Amanda Lee (a famed local artist) painted the mural on their walls! Oakmont Olive Oil Company has had the pleasure of partnering with local restaurants (like The Mighty Oak Barrel) to host cooking lessons which drew in new faces to their community of Olive Oil Lovers! These partnerships with neighbors and friends have created both customers and advocates for their business… of whom we are most appreciative.
